I’ve always been a firm believer in the power of storytelling. Whether you’re reading an article, a book, a press release or an Instagram post, it’s the story that reels you in and keeps you coming back for more.

From magazines and fashion brands to newspapers and digital agencies, I’ve covered a broad spectrum of industries with one common theme: content creation.

I first began my writing career when the decline of print was at its peak, but I soon saw the huge benefits that the digital world had to offer. What used to be long-form magazine articles became thought-provoking blog posts, and digital bylines served as link to your choice of social media platform. Social media quickly became a big part of my job, and as a so-called ‘digital native’ it was exciting to see brands making vast amounts of money through these platforms.

After working with agencies and brands on social strategies, I decided to hang up my 9-5 hat and work on more creative projects as a freelancer. My week now revolves around a mixture of social content creation, social media management, website copy, long-form articles and one-on-one social media training sessions.
